Shades of thought, creeping by. The white noise unnerving mind and it cuts so fast leaving blank eyes under dead weight. When mornings come, they come late as my mind starts to dissipate. I’m forgotten, (my mind is suspect) I’m forgotten (I cannot wait), I’m forgotten (When will it end) and I say, I’m forgotten!

Wallflower

I am not the charming who sits alone. In the night under the cold street light flickering and I’m left to myself. There is no one else to help me figure out when have you lost, wanting to love? When have you slipped wanting to touch? Now I am the sleepwalker, so you don’t have to tell me that I don’t have much in my life. When I’m the boy afraid holding up a wall with music and people who are young and alive. I’ll make you all believers out of these lonely sheets at the edge of my bed.

Arranging Flowers

You sit here waiting (for them) to arrive. Just trying but the things you hold are now gone. So what else can make you remain any less numb. A Family portrait? A pretty picture, an empty prayer? Or the words in a homesick song that never gets written on the page staring back at you. It all just sits starring back at you. (So instead) I stole these flowers from a garden, I hope they make you smile. xoxo ... I love you
